WARNING: These stories contain graphic descriptions of homosexual rape, torture, ritual human sacrifice, abuse, loads of angst and despair, and other such morbid stuff. If this is not your cup of tea, turn back now.

I don't write stories about cosmic conflicts of good versus evil.

I don't write stories about Manichean dualism. (In private life, I'm a committed polytheistic pagan.)

I don't write angsty, dark, hopeless stories, because I think gothic is too damn trendy right now.

I don't write about rapists as heroes or even anti-heroes.

Raven the Dark Warrior has made me break every one of those rules. I don't think I've ever had a character come so strongly to life in my hands. Hopefully you'll agree the results were worth it.

The Price

{MM+/M, Mdom+/M, semiconsensual, torture, oral, anal, bestiality (well, sort of), magic, goth}

The first Raven story I ever wrote. Sometimes "Hell to pay" has a different meaning, as he knows only too well. This is one of the fiercest, darkest erotic stories I have ever written (as well as one of the finest, I think, if I do say so myself). (The old version is still here.)

The Bargain

{MM+/M, Mdom, violence, torture, human sacrifice, semiconsensual, oral, anal, magic, goth}

This time, Raven is the aggressor, and he strikes a strange bargain with a captive Bright Mage. Probably the best erotic piece I've ever written; certainly the most ambitious, with its length and complex undercurrents of plot and emotion. Warning: it's long -- 114K.

A Journey North of Prazaeg

{violence, nudity, unresolved M/M sexual tension}

The Dark Warrior seeks alliance with the powerful Ah'kerr orcs. Now, as Duke Devoragh follows him into the dangers of Ah'kerr territory, he begins to doubt whether Raven knows what he's doing . . .

The Darkness Descends

{torture (not graphic), no sex, magic, goth}

Chronologically the first story in the series, this is Raven's origin story, which explains why he turned to the Dark. Warning: no spooge, although there's some nice healthy dark imagery and horror.

Alone (Part 1 of A Thousand Lies)

{flogging, no sex}

Raven begins his training as a Dark Mage under Zhevke.

Fear (Part 2 of A Thousand Lies)

{no sex, just heavy religious themes}

Raven's training continues as he learns the first Deadly Weakness: fear.
